PEPFAR, along with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Girl Effect, Johnson & Johnson, Gilead Sciences, and ViiV Healthcare, launched the ambitious DREAMS partnership in 2015, to help girls develop into Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored, and Safe women by supporting adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) with a multi-sectoral core package of interventions. Please join us for a satellite to showcase how the power of data, program, people, and partnerships has led to the results and successes of the DREAMS Partnership over its first two years of implementation. We will take stock of how far we’ve come, and energize for the work still left to do. The program will feature remarks by Ambassador Deborah L. Birx, U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator & U.S. Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy, PEPFAR teams, DREAMS beneficiaries, and private-sector partners.
